Ryan serves as the Treasurer of the Diablo Valley College Foundation while balancing his roles as a serial entrepreneur and educator. Currently the Co-founder and CEO of Shovels, a construction data platform, he has a proven track record of building and exiting successful tech companies like MightySignal and Scripted. Ryan brings deep expertise in data strategy and business growth to the board, backed by graduate degrees from MIT and Harvard. As an Associate Professor at DVC, he teaches entrepreneurship and management, actively mentoring the next generation of business leaders.
